When I moved from Lagos, Nigeria to Oklahoma City what my family and I missed the most were the flavors we enjoyed, as they were not readily accessible. So, we started bringing back vegetable soup and other foods and ingredients with us in our luggage whenever we went to visit Nigeria.

The funny thing is we are not alone. Lots of people who enjoy global cuisines are in a similar boat or flight haha!, when it comes to enjoying tastes from countries in Africa. Green Sahara is on a mission to bring the delicious flavors from the African continent to our wider community of food lovers.
